End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Meowsiam ("Licensor") and governs your use of the Meowsiam mobile application (the "Licensed Application") on Apple- and Google-branded devices. If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and in case of conflict the terms below that are required by Apple prevail.

1. License

Licensor grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Licensed Application on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play usage rules. You may not distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Licensed Application, or make it available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

2. Scope and restrictions

  • You may not copy, reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Licensed Application except as permitted by applicable law.
  • You may not modify or create derivative works of the Licensed Application.
  • The license covers updates that replace or supplement the original app unless the update comes with a separate license.

3. Consent to use of data

You agree that Licensor may collect and use technical data necessary to provide product support, updates, and services related to the Licensed Application, as described in the Meowsiam Privacy Policy. Photos you submit are processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. External services

The Licensed Application uses external services, including AI vision analysis for breed identification. Licensor is responsible for these integrations. You agree to use external services at your sole risk and acknowledge results may not be accurate.

5. No warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSED APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to an applicable warranty, if you purchased through the App Store you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Licensed Application.

6. Limitation of liability

Licensor's liability is limited as described in the Meowsiam Terms of Service. Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the Licensed Application, including product liability claims, consumer-protection claims, or claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements.

7. Intellectual property claims

In the event of a third-party claim that the Licensed Application infringes intellectual property rights, Licensor — not Apple or Google — is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of the claim.

8. Legal compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

9. Third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement for apps obtained through the App Store, and upon your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce this Agreement against you.
